I have been blogging about issues and in support of candidates in the United States since 2003. In 2005, I took a job as the ‘blogmaster’ for a candidate running for Governor and in 2006 was the technology coordinator of a candidate running for Senate.

I believe that everyone should have an opinion about the issues and the candidates that are important about them and should be willing to state that opinion on a blog.

I will be very interested to see what goes on for blogging in the 2010 Philippines elections. I hope you and many of your readers and patrons write about the candidates and the issues.

Personally, I do not see anything wrong with blogging for candidates whom we believe would do good for his constituents if elected and better if we would get some remuneration for doing that because it would really boost their chances of winning.
