Try to install deep freeze in your system, no need to clean your registry, defrag or what else.. just reboot your PC and it all comes back as new and fresh.

I use ccleaner…. however, I don’t do defrag….

I did a clean install (as in all clean, deleted all partition, created new ones) of XP and Xubuntu last week…
And also, one of the best way to keep your computer fast is, avoid installing crapware (softwares you know you won’t be using)…

Thanks for this helpful post and sharing the links….I am using Defragger. However, I don’t know much for my hubby’s Mac. It’s really freaking slow and I think we really need to take it to the technician soon. I think it has so much stuff in it because we used to share that Mac.

Thank you for the information. Yes, Diskeeper could be better than Defraggler but is not free. As much as possible, I review and make suggestions for freeware only. I hope you understand.

Great fan of CCleaner. For defrag, not found any other defragger as cool as Diskeeper. Set it and forget about defrag.
