# The First 100 Days of This Weblog

Some friends and colleagues were asking me why I blogged the first 90 days when customarily the thing to do is to make a review of one’s performance in his first 100 days in office like what we do to new heads of states. I just smile and tell them that I am not the head of anything so I can do what I want. What I did not tell them is that many CPC/CPM (pay per click) advertisers want your blog to be at least 90-day old before they even review it when you apply for an account with them so I did my own review after the same number of days.

Anyway, as tradition dictates, here are the figures in my WordPress dashboard and Cystats at the end of my first 100 days of serious blogging:

…………………………………………………….. T O T A L ………. Ave./Day………

1. Unique Visits . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 7,962 . . . . . . . . . . .  79.62
2. Number of Hits . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  . 28,470 . . . . . . . . . . 284.70
3. Blogs Posted . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 87 . . . . . . . . . . . . 0.87
4. Number of Comments . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 98 . . . . . . . . . . . . 0.98
5. Visits by Bots . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 7,508 . . . . . . . . . . . 75.08
6. Hits by Bots . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 12,396 . . . . . . . . . . 123.96

If it would be of any significance, I would like to summarize my blog’s uniques visits and hits in the last ten (10) days by subtracting the 90-day figures from the above statistics and the results would be as follows:

……………………………………………………. T O T A L ………. Ave./Day………

1. Unique Visits . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1,526 . . . . . . . . . . 152.60
2. Number of Hits . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3,644 . . . . . . . . . . 364.40

Should I be happy with these figures? I would be a hypocrite if I say I am not. I know that my figures are still way off the marks that probloggers get but they are respectable enough for a new niche blogger like me to achieve. I wish to ask for your continued support of this site.
